The Telkom’s FutureMakers Programme

Through the funding vehicle of Telkom’s FutureMakers program, IDF Capital funded 110 SMEs in the ICT sector. Our funding products were designed to meet the funding needs for the businesses at their different stages of growth, enabling customised value creation interventions that result in great scale and impact. The fund created an impressive 66,449 direct and indirect jobs. The combined average female portfolio across the different fund’s pots is 33%, which is a great feat for a tech fund where female-owned Tech businesses are scarce.

Our portfolio companies also got rewarded for their contribution to the transformation of the ICT sector in the country. We are proud of these achievements!
